Ira Mandel, MD, M.P.H.
Dr. Mandel is a board-certified family physician with over 20 years experience in quality improvement for healthcare organizations and physician practices. He holds a Masters of Public Health Degree. As well as serving as a Medical Director at Parses, Dr. Mandel is Medical Director at PenBay Healthcare Hospice and PenBay Health Connections Department of Occupational Health. Since 1993, Dr. Mandel has been a Surveyor for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and is currently appointed to the Review Oversight Committee that establishes accreditation decisions. He is on the Editorial Review Board, Family Practice Management, and is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner.
